About Golonka Farm
Golonka Farm was started in 1956 by Bernard and Mary Golonka, beginning with cucumbers. Their youngest son Jim expanded over the years, building the farm stand in the late 1980s. Jim and his wife, Jan, now run the farm.
Jim spends his winters poring over seed catalogs to be sure we are growing the best tasting vegetables for our customers. He likes to try one or two new vegetables each year.
While we are noted for our sweet corn, we grow a large variety of other vegetables which we offer right here at our farm stand. We pick vegetables for the stand fresh throughout each day to ensure our customers the best tasting, highest quality produce we can offer. We grow all our vegetables utilizing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques. Please ask us about it.
